Eachine Wizard X220S Proves Budget Limitations Are Not That Bad
The Eachine Wizard X220S is considered the best budget drone of the year – following in the footsteps of the X220. Showing off some improvements, this flying machine will get your flying muscles excited – and quickly.
Packing an Omnibus F4 v3 with a Betaflight OSD, Eachine’s latest drone focuses on flying performance – keep in mind the new propellers, motors, and ESCs – while the fresh 800TVL camera with 72 channel, power switchable VTX and a Pagoda antenna should be enough to get you in the mood for shopping.
The ideal budget quadcopter should offer power and agility at an affordable price – at least, in my mind.
And things are looking good for this drone; weighing in at around 560g, the X220S had the motors mounted onto some vibration damping rubber while the rubber HD camera mount also works on offering you those incredible shots you’ve been dreaming about.
In short – Eachine-MN2206 motors, HS1179 800TVL CCD camera, 5.8G 72CH switchable transmitter, iRangeX iR-A8S v2 receiver (400 m) and 10 x 5051 Eachine purple tri-blade propellers.
The good – spare props, flies right out of the box, cool LEDs, wire mesh guard and an adjustable camera mount.
The bad – glass fiber frame, with outer layers of carbon fiber. At the end of the day, it’s hard to beat this amount of performance for the price.
