Voltaic Introduces Fresh Solar Backpacks
Some of you might remember Voltaic as the creators of the original solar backpack, some of you may not. Nonetheless, the brand has introduced its freshly designed its iconic pack, with the portable power company setting out to raise $24,000 on Kickstarter to help ramp up production of the new line.
The bags are meant to feature high-performance solar panel, a battery pack to store power and the capability to recharge the battery from solar or from the wall. With an embedded 10 Watts of solar power, the Array is the only backpack on the market capable of powering laptops, DSLR camera, and even drones; the 19,800mAh external battery pack is more than capable of doing so.
The OffGrid Solar Backpack is a streamlined version of the same design, meant to provide power for your smartphone, tablet, or DSLR camera. It features a 6 Watt solar panel and 4,000 mAh battery, although customers can also go for the V44, 12,000 mAh battery upgrade.
These bags are designed for professionals, adventurers or anyone else who loves staying far away from home. There is an optional padded insert for cameras, smart pockets for easy charging within, as well as a separate quick-access laptop/tablet sleeve.
You might be interested to know that the Array and the OffGrid are available exclusively via Kickstarter until December 5th, with Voltaic offering specials prices as well as an Early Bird Discount on both accessories.
