DronePrix AR Offers The Virtual Experience
Augmented reality gets some people very excited, but I’m not going to criticize anyone’s girlfriend. Instead, I am going to focus on the DronePrix AR and its obvious powers over retailers, considering the technology’s potential for gamers and drone pilots.
Using the DJI software development kit, the team at Edgybees has made sure we get to experience the first augmented reality game for the company’s drones. This means pilots may improve their skills without damaging their precious toy.
DronePrix AR will allow users to pilot their virtual drone through a virtual obstacle course and try to collect prizes along the way.
The app itself is fairly simple to use and can be downloaded for free from Google Play and the App Store. Once installed, you just experience the view from the drone’s camera on the phone, select a course and enjoy the ride.
There are a range of game modes, depending on pilot skills and the amount of fun you want to have. Please note that the app includes more than 30 different obstacle courses, which means there is a challenge for everyone, especially once you realize Drone Prix AR provides a much more immersive than you were expecting.
