Anyone Else Interested In Christmas Drone Deals?

Now, that I have your undivided attention, allow me to let you in on a little secret – Santa may be riding a drone this year instead of his old-fashioned slay. Well, who could argue with that, considering the rise in popularity of the flying machines? It seems that over 3 million drones are expected to find an owner this Holiday Season, making them the hottest Christmas gift around. So, how about a little research before the actual purchase?

DJI Drones

There’s no point in introducing the DJI name as the brand has come to be known as the leading drone manufacturer in the world. Their high-quality drones will easily outclass their competitors by miles, packing powerful cameras, some serious features and as well as long-lasting batteries. Did I mention they are having a sale?

DJI Spark

This drone would usually set you back $499, but these days fans could own their very own for $399 – Christmas is coming early, this year. Designed for beginners, this flying machine packs various features, such as gesture control, a 2-axis gimbal – 1080p video and 12 MP stills – and a compact size. By the way, this drone usually flies for as long as 16 minutes at a distance of up to 1.2 miles. It’s all good!

DJI Mavic Pro

This professional player could be yours this Christmas for ‘only’ $899, which means $100 extra for beer and other activities. The Mavic Pro shoots 4K videos and delivers 12 MP stills thanks to its 3-axis camera. With a flight time of up to 27 minutes, a max range of 7 km (4.3 miles) and a top speed of 40 mph, this thing is bound to put a smile on your face. The folding feature makes the Mavic Pro is the best drone you can buy right now. Please note that DJI’s drone sale ends on December 31st.

Other Options

The Holy Stone HS170 Predator is an affordable option, a tiny thing set to cost $39 instead of $55. It gives you a flight time of around 6 – 8 minutes, comes with propeller guards and will most likely be fun to fly. This sounds about right.

The Parrot Bebop 2 makes an entry on our list, with the drone set to cost only $345. Known for the best quality/price offering, this drone promises 1080p videos and 14 MP stills, at least for as long as 25 minutes. Considering the battery lifespan, this drone is always worth a closer look.

The Force1 UDI U818A is also worth checking out, with this drone packing a propeller guard that surrounds the aircraft. The $90 device comes with a 720p camera and more. The latter promises a longer flight time and more flying modes – the altitude hold feature and a return to home button also come in handy. So, what Christmas gift will you be going for?
